On October 29th, 1965 Mel Johnson was hunting over a soy bean field not 20 minutes outside Peoria, Illinois. He shot with a bow and arrow the buck that has held the record for almost 50 years. Will that record ever be broken? We're not sure, but we tracked down Mel to get the real story and learn exactly what a world class whitetail archery hunter has to say about deer hunting after 81 years. Notepad required.
