Hunter recruitment is critical for our sport to survive. QDMA says that declining hunter participation is one of the single most important issues impacting deer hunting and management today. But what's to blame? Is it social media? Is it a lack of hunter unity? Is it the media or the anti-hunter winning over the middle ground? These are tough questions to answer, but it'll be essential for us to answer to reverse the trend of declining hunter numbers. We turned to John Stallone to discuss this topic in-depth as he just wrote a think piece article about the subject. But we don't stop there. I've always been fascinated with John's ability to successfully take coyote with a bow an arrow. Hunting coyotes with a bow will undoubtedly help you with those adrenaline filled deer hunting moments when you need to make it count. But how the heck can you get a good bow shot on a coyote? John discusses his strategies.
